The results of privatization for January – September 2023 – the State Property Fund of Ukraine attracted UAH 2.7 billion
On average, over the previous five years, privatization had generatedUAH 951 million for a similar period. The proceeds for the first three quarters of 2023 exceed this figure by nearly three times.
Since the beginning of this year, the SPFUhas already found new owners for 303 state assets. The most expensive one, the "Ermіtazh" hotel in Kyiv, was sold for UAH 311 million.
Over 60% of this year's lots are administrative real estate, which entrepreneurs are renovating and using for opening new stores, offices, or cafes.
"Ukrainian entrepreneurs demonstrate their resilience and actively invest in state assets during a full-scale invasion. Since the beginning of the year, almost 1600 entrepreneurs have participated in auctions. On average, more than 5 entrepreneurs compete for each lot, which is 60% more than in 2021," says Deputy Head of the SPFU, Serhiy Symonov.
