Nearly UAH 74 million – economic result from privatization for the week (October 23-27)

During the week of October 23-27, the State Property Fund's team conducted 12 privatization auctions on the Prozorro.Sale platform, with 116 entrepreneurs participating. On average, nearly 10 participants competed for each asset.

The result: the value of the assets increased by 2.4 times (from a total starting price of UAH 25.9 million to a winning bid of UAH 61.4 million).

Additionally, the new owners must pay 20% VAT on their proposals, which amounts to another UAH 12.3 million.

So, the economic resultof privatization for the week amounted to nearly UAH 74 million.

The biggest sale of the week was the privatization of the Khmelnytskyі Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise. The investor offered UAH 32 million for the asset. Furthermore, theinvestor is obligated to maintain the enterprise's fieldof activity for 10 years. The result is the attraction of investments and new technologies to this field.

In two auctions, more than 20 participants competed simultaneously: for a timber processing enterprise in Lviv region and a garage complex in Kirovohrad region. The result: the value increased by 138 and 117 times, respectively.
