SPFU and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs join forces in the international relations
The Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Vitaliy Koval and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba during the working meeting outlined joint initiatives aimed at returning the Ukrainian share of foreign assets of the Soviet heritage and attracting foreign investors.
The State Property Fund and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will jointly work on the return of property that was unjustly and illegally seized by russia after the collapse of the USSR. As Vitaliy Koval noted, the Fund is ready to privatize such property, because it can become one of the sources of Ukraine's internal reserve to support the Armed Forces.
The parties agreed on the integration of the Fund's investment menu with the NAZOVNI service, which was created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote Ukrainian goods and services abroad. In addition to Ukrainian goods, the NAZOVNI platform will also feature objects of small privatization.
Also, the SPFU and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will jointly work on the promotion of objects of large privatization. In particular, these are the United Mining and Chemical Company, Hotel "Ukraine", enterprises of the titanium industry and other large enterprises that may interest international business.
"Our goal is to demonstrate successful privatization cases to the international community," noted the Chairman of the Fund, Vitaliy Koval. This will help in building the image of Ukraine as a reliable partner for investments."
In order to work in these areas, the SPFU and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs agreed to create a joint working group.
