102 successful auctions, economic effect of over UAH 900 million - the result of small-scale privatization since the beginning of 2024

The team of the State Property Fund held 102 successful online auctions for small-scale privatization, which were held in the Prozorro.Sale system. The total economic effect is more than UAH 900 million: more than UAH 667 million is the amount of bids, UAH 133 million is the expected payment of VAT, and about UAH 100 million is the debt obligations of enterprises that, according to the terms of privatization, must be repaid by the new owners. In particular, UAH 7 million are wage arrears and budget payments.

The number of bidders in the online auctions was 536, which is an average of 5.3 per lot.

The largest auctions since the beginning of the year were the sale of the Property complex of state-owned commercial enterprise “Kyiv experimental prosthetic-and-orthopedic enterprise” and the Property Complex of theSOE «TVK». The privatization of these two companies has contributed UAH 220 million to the state budget.

The Chairman of the SPFU, Vitaliy Koval, emphasizes that the SPFU team continues to work on expanding investment and resuming the Large-scale Privatization. Among the expected auctions are «Ocean Plaza»shopping center and Hotel«Ukraine», all of which are located in the capital, have good technical characteristics and an attractive investment location. The auctions for the privatization of these facilities are expected to be announced this summer.

"Today, privatization is not just about selling facilities. It is about strengthening Ukraine's economy and supporting our military," emphasizes the Chairman of the State Property Fund.
