Attention to the customers of property valuation!
We inform about important changes in the field of valuation activities.
On 11 December 2024, the Law of Ukraine on the priority right of certain categories of IDPs to compensation for destroyed real estate entered into force. At the same time, amendments were made to the Law of Ukraine "On the Valuation of Property, Property Rights and Professional Valuation Activities in Ukraine".
What does this mean in practice?
Qualification certificates of appraisers issued before the entry into force of Law No. 4017-IX (10.10.2024) were valid until 01.01.2026.
New property valuation directions introduced (amendments to Article 15 of the Law).
In accordance with the order of the State Property Fund of Ukraine dated 26.05.2025 No. 765, the mandatory re-issuance of old-style qualification certificates of appraisers was introduced - for the receipt of new-style certificates in accordance with the updated directions of valuation.
What should property valuation customers pay attention to?
When choosing an appraisal entity, be sure to check the validity of the qualification certificates of the appraisers who will directly carry out the valuation and sign the report.
The current list of appraisers who have already re-registered their certificates and are entitled to work in new areas is available on the official website of the Fund: www.spfu.gov.ua
