Timely payment ensures the preservation of the right to sublease state-owned land
The project to lease state-owned agricultural land is now in its second year. Most farmers are demonstrating a high level of responsibility: to date, the budget has already received UAH 393 million (including VAT). However, State Land Bank LLC has recorded isolated cases of financial misconduct.
The parties’ obligations are based on the transparent terms of the contract, which is available on the Prozorro.Sales system prior to the auction and is officially signed by the winners.
The contract stipulates:

payment of 100% of the annual sublease fee as an advance payment within 3 business days after signing the contract.

making an annual advance payment by the date specified in the contract.

the imposition of fines and penalties in the event of a payment delay.

in the event of a payment delay exceeding 20 business days, the contract is terminated unilaterally.
In the event of late payment of the sublease fee, State Land Bank LLC officially notifies the user of the violation. If the debt is not settled within 20 business days, the company will terminate the contract unilaterally, and the land plot will be re-listed for electronic auction.
