Transparency in Privatization: What Should a Potential Buyer Know?
The privatization of state and municipal property in Ukraine is a process based on complete transparency. The law clearly defines what information privatization authorities are required to provide to citizens and businesses.
Where to Find Information?
Privatization authorities use all available channels:

Official websites and the Internet.

Electronic trading system (Prozorro.Sales).
What must be made public?

Lists of assets being prepared for sale.

Privatization decisions regarding each specific lot.

Information notice.

Sale results.
What should the information notice about a lot contain?

Technical data: Name, address, identification code (USREOU), description of buildings and land plot (cadastral number, area, encumbrances).

Financial terms: Starting price, amount of the guarantee and registration fees, bank details.

Procedural details: Auction format, deadline for submitting bids, date and time of the auction.

Leases: Are there tenants on the property, how much do they pay, and what is the term of their leases?

Logistics: Where and when you can view the property in person.
Important for property complex: additionally specified are the number of employees, main products, performance indicators for the last 3 years, and even environmental indicators (emissions, waste).
Sale Results
Transparency is maintained even after the auction concludes; the following must be published:

The buyer’s last name (for individuals) or company name (for legal entities).

The final price at which the property was purchased.
