Ukraine and Denmark: a reliable strategic partnership
The Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Dmytro Natalukha, together with his team, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine, Thomas Lund-Sørensen.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Fund presented the strategic plans for the current year, paying special attention to the potential of the Land Bank, large-scale privatization, and the most promising objects for investment.
The main issue of the meeting was the preparation of enterprises for future privatization. The team identified key objects that will soon become available to investors.
The Ambassador emphasized the importance of expanding financial instruments to support business, in particular through public-private partnerships. He stressed that creating a transparent investment environment is a key condition for attracting foreign capital into the Ukrainian economy and its long-term recovery.
The discussion confirmed Denmark's systemic support in the recovery of Ukraine. Through specialized investment funds, the partners provide direct financing for critical infrastructure and give businesses access to advanced technologies. Concessional lending and grant programs allow Ukrainian enterprises to strengthen their economic resilience even in extremely difficult conditions.
Summarizing the meeting, the parties confirmed the strategic nature of the cooperation and their readiness for further coordination of efforts. Joint work on privatization processes and state asset management will become an effective instrument for attracting transparent investments, which will contribute to Ukraine's economic recovery and its integration into the European market.
We appreciate that Denmark not only provides financial guarantees but also actively supports democratic and social reforms, and the creation of new jobs, laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth. The significant military assistance that Denmark has been providing since the very beginning of the full-scale invasion is worth noting separately.
