61.2 million UAH: Results of Last Week’s Privatization Auctions

Last week, the State Property Fund team held five privatization auctions on the Prozorro.Sales platform, resulting in a total winning bid amount of 61.2 million hryvnias. On average, prices increased 144-fold. A total of 42 participants competed in the auctions. 

The most expensive property last week was an administrative and educational complex with a total area of 436 m² in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Due to high competition during the bidding, which involved 26 participants, the price rose from the starting bid of 17,208 hryvnias to the final bid of 60,000,000 hryvnias. The second most expensive property was a garage with a total area of 54.1 m² in the Zhytomyr region, where 9 participants competed for ownership. Such competition during the bidding allowed the price to rise from the starting bid of 1,699 hryvnias to the final bid of 750,001 hryvnias.

This week, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) team plans to hold 32 online privatization auctions. 

Among the offerings are properties such as: the premises of a former dental clinic (Sumy region), an unfinished construction project—a 60-unit residential building (Kyiv region), a forestry office with a total area of 364.7 m² (Khmelnytskyi region), and others. 

In addition, the SPFU`s investment portfolio includes opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses, such as non-residential and administrative buildings, veterinary clinics, and construction-in-progress projects, among others.
