UAH 5.7 million (+ UAH 1.14 million VAT): results of todays privatization auctions

Today, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) team held two successful privatization auctions totaling UAH 5.7 million. The auctions took place on the “Prozorro.Sales” electronic platform.

Among the assets that found new owners: 

A wood processing plant (388.6 m²) in Lviv Oblast. Three participants competed for ownership of the asset. During the bidding, the price increased 7.2-fold: from the starting price of UAH 622,700 to the winning bid of UAH 4.5 million. Additionally, the winner must pay VAT in the amount of UAH 900,000. Thus, the total economic effect may amount to UAH 5.4 million.

Non-residential building (530.3 m²) in Kharkiv. Ten participants competed for ownership of the property; due to the competition, the price increased 152.7-fold: from the starting bid of UAH 7,712 to the winning bid of nearly UAH 1.2 million.  Additionally, the winner must pay VAT in the amount of UAH 235,600. Thus, the total economic effect could amount to over UAH 1.4 million.

After full payment for the lots, including VAT, the auction winners will take ownership of the properties they competed for.
