Working meeting of representatives of the SPFU and the EIB

Large-scale privatization during wartime is primarily a matter of investor confidence, access to financing, and effective investment protection tools. These issues were the focus of a working meeting between the State Property Fund of Ukraine and representatives of the European Investment Bank (EIB).

The parties discussed the possibilities of supporting the preparation of large state and sanctioned assets for privatization, the development of mechanisms for insuring war risks and attracting international investors to Ukrainian projects. Special attention was paid to the transformation of industrial regions, the modernization of infrastructure and the creation of conditions for attracting private capital to the recovery of the Ukrainian economy.

For the State Property Fund, it is important not only to hold an auction, but also to ensure the quality preparation of assets for the arrival of an investor: transparency, full disclosure of information and clear rules of work after purchase.
