Ukraines economic resilience is not just about survival
Head of the State Property Fund Dmytro Natalukha participated in the Economic Resilience Forum in Chernivtsi within the panel "Ukraines Economic Resilience: Adaptation in Wartime and European Support."
During the discussion, the Head of the Fund emphasized that today Ukraine is demonstrating a unique example to the world — the country is simultaneously waging a war, reforming its economy, and continuing its European integration.
The State Property Fund is one of the drivers of these changes. Despite the full-scale war, we are continuing privatization, corporate governance reform, and the implementation of new investment mechanisms.
Just in the first five months of 2026, over UAH 1 billion has already been transferred to the state budget from privatization and related processes, accounting for more than 50% of the annual plan. At the same time, all sales take place exclusively through the open Prozorro.Sale system, ensuring transparency and investor trust.
Special attention was paid to the "Land Bank" project, which has become one of the most successful examples of economic adaptation during the war. Thanks to transparent auctions, the state has already received over UAH 1.4 billion, and tens of thousands of hectares of state lands have begun to work effectively for the countrys economy rather than in the "shadows."
The Head of the Fund also highlighted the importance of selling sanctioned assets as a tool for restoring justice. The assets of individuals who supported Russian aggression are seized for the states revenue and work towards Ukraines recovery. Funds from their sale are directed to the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
"True economic resilience is the states ability not to postpone changes until better times. Despite the war, Ukraine continues its reforms, opens up new opportunities for investors, increases the efficiency of managing state assets, and builds a foundation for future economic growth. This is exactly how a strong, competitive, and European Ukraine is formed," emphasized Dmytro Natalukha.
Together we are building an economy capable not only of withstanding but of winning.
