Privatization of Sumykhimprom JSC: auction date set
Chaired by Vitaliy Kovalenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund, a meeting of the auction commission was held to discuss the sale of a major privatization asset — a state-owned stake representing 99.9952% of the authorized capital of Sumykhimprom JSC.
Following the meeting, the auction commission determined that the electronic auction is to take place on October 13, 2026.
The commission also approved a draft information notice regarding the sale of the state-owned stake in JSC “Sumykhimprom” via an electronic auction, along with the terms and conditions, which will be published shortly on the Fund’s official website and in the “Prozorro.Sales” electronic trading system. It will contain a complete list of privatization terms, the starting price, the auction date, requirements for potential buyers, and other necessary information for auction participants.
As a reminder, on July 8, 2026, the Government approved the terms and the starting price for the sale of the state-owned stake in JSC “Sumykhimprom,” which amounts to UAH 1.005 billion.
The State Property Fund of Ukraine is systematically preparing for the privatization of one of the largest and highest-priority large-scale privatization projects — the state-owned stake in JSC “Sumykhimprom”— which the Fund planned to put up for sale in 2026.
Large-scale privatization offers an opportunity to attract strategic investors, modernize enterprises, create new opportunities for production development, and generate additional revenue for the state budget.
