Privatization of JSC “Odesa Port Plant”: Auction Date Set
Chaired by Vitaliy Kovalenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, a meeting of the auction commission was held to discuss the sale of a major privatization asset—a state-owned stake representing 99.5667% of the authorized capital of JSC “Odesa Port Plant.”
Following the meeting, the auction commission determined that the electronic auction will take place on October 19, 2026.
The commission also approved a draft information notice regarding the sale of the state-owned stake in JSC “Odesa Port Plant” via an electronic auction, along with the terms and conditions, which will soon be published on the official website of the State Property Fund of Ukraine and in the “Prozorro.Sales” electronic trading system. The document will contain a complete list of privatization terms, the starting price, the auction date, requirements for potential buyers, and other necessary information for participants.
As a reminder, on July 15, 2026, the government approved the terms and the starting price for the sale of the state’s stake in JSC “Odesa Port Plant.” The starting price is over UAH 4.3 billion.
One of the key conditions of the privatization is the future investor’s obligation to invest at least UAH 500 million in modernizing the enterprise and improving its energy efficiency. This will help restore operations at one of Ukraine’s largest chemical enterprises, increase its competitiveness, and lay the groundwork for sustainable development.
The State Property Fund of Ukraine continues to carry out preparatory measures for the privatization of one of the most important large-scale privatization projects—Odesa Port Plant JSC—ensuring the openness, transparency, and competitiveness of the sale process.
Large-scale privatization helps attract strategic investors, modernize production facilities, develop enterprises, create new jobs, and increase revenues to the state budget.
