The State Property Fund of Ukraine organized a press tour to the Hotel Slovianskyi that will be put up at auction on July 3

On June 23, the State Property Fund of Ukraine organized a press tour to the Hotel Slovianksyi with the aim to unleash its potential as a promising object for the hotel business investment.

During the press tour the media representatives obtained full access to all premises of the hotel’s area and possibility to personally make sure in the hotel’s logistic, infrastructure and touristic advantages.

The Deputy Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Kostiantyn Koshelenko reported that touristic perspectives opening due to “The Large construction” and possibilities to increase the hotel’s attractiveness due to tourist routes.

Hotel Slovianskyi is situated in Novhorod-Siverskyi city, 2 km from the bus station and at a distance of 8 km from the acting airfield in Troitske village.

“The main hotel’s advantages are location in the city with the highest concentration of attractions per 1 sq.m, the picturesque nature and incredibly beautiful panoramic view from the window to the Desna River’s flood plain”. And also there are amazing logistic perspectives and appropriate conditions for related services development. It is enough even a one of these items for experienced hotelier to make his business successful”, - Kostiantyn Koshelenko emphasized.  

Investments attraction through the Hotel Slovianskyi privatization is a benefit for both  community of city that will obtain new workplaces and tourism development profits and for the State that will receive the object’s market price and constant tax revenue from the successful hotel business instead of loss.

The Hotel Slovianskyi represents rooms of four types: standard, junior suite, suite, apartment. Each room is equipped with air conditioner, safe, and private bathroom. There are electronic locks, satellite tv and internet access in all rooms

During the press conference, organized for reporters, the Deputy of the Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Taras Yeleiko reported on complex work on the hotel’s privatization preparation that was held and, in particular, on information disclosure to potential investors.

 “Today, in a virtual data room it is available all necessary information from a mechanical building’s drawing to a financial reporting. Therefore, an investor who makes a decision for him to buy a hotel will not buy a pig in a poke but will have full information on a lot. Consequently, we expect to attract a competent investor for this object who will become the most efficient owner and give the second life to the hotel,” - Taras Yeleiko stated.
