Agreement on lease of the Unified Property Complex of the State Scientific and Production Enterprise “Ukrmekhanobr” in Kryvyi Rih will be extended via auction on ProZorro.Sale for the first time

The State Property Fund of Ukraine announced auction to extend the lease of the Unified Property Complex of the State Scientific and Production Enterprise “Ukrmekhanobr” in Kryvyi Rih town.The company specializes in the open mining of ferrous metals. According to the results of tenders in the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sales, the lease agreement for this object can be extended with an existing tenant or will be concluded with a new tenant.

The current tenant of the single integral property complex of the Unified Property Complex of the State Scientific and Production Enterprise “Ukrmekhanobr” is “Mariupol Iron and Steel Works named after Illich”.A lease agreement with him was concluded in 2005 for a period of 15 years, which expires in July 2020.

This agreement is one of the largest in Ukraine and, according to the Fund’s information, takes 27th place in the ranking of TOP-30 state property leases.The rent for this agreement is about 12 million UAH annually.The State Property Fund emphasizes the extending one of the largest leases of state property via an electronic auction will be held for the first time in history.

Recall that according to the Law of Ukraine “On Property Leases”, entered into force on February 1, 2020, the conclusion of new or extension of existing leases of state property is carried out via an auction in the Prozorro.Sales electronic trading system.
