UMCC has allocated UAH 1.75 million for the summer recreation of employees

In 2020, UAH 1.75 million was allocated for the organization of family recreation for employees of the JSC “United Mining and Chemical Company”. The decision was made by Members of the Company's Board. Thanks to the allocated funds, 715 people, employees of companies with their children, will be able to get healthier this summer by the sea for free.

“Providing social guarantees and supporting our employees during the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the most important tasks of the Company's Management. This year, due to quarantine, unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to provide the usual collective recreation for the children of UMCC's employees. Therefore, the Board made an unanimous decision not to save the funds allocated for this purpose, but to redirect them to the organization of family recreation for members of the UMCC's staff,” said Peter Davis, Acting Head of the Management Board of JSC “UMCC”.

“The well-being of the labor collectives of “UMCC” combines directly affects the efficiency of the company. I am glad that the current leadership understands this and tries to support it,” said Fedir Klymenko, the Head of the Trade Union Committee of “VMMP”.

To recall, the “UMCC” has developed a social protection program for employees, according to which a number of measures are provided to support UMCC's employees during the global pandemic and crisis, in particular, from August 2020 for all employees of Vilnohirsk MMP and Irshansk MMP branches, salaries increased by 20 % with the preservation of all social guarantees in accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement.
