The State Property Fund announces the privatization auction of the Nemyriv Distilling Plant

On September 15, 2020, the State Property Fund of Ukraine announced the first auction of objects of the alcohol industry - Nemyriv Business and Alcohol Storage Site (object of SE “Ukrspyrt”), which will take place on October 15, 2020.

Nemyriv Business and Alcohol Storage Site has been put up for privatization at the first of the list of Ukrspyrt objects, and this asset will be the first private distilling plant in Ukraine.

Thus, the ambitious program on privatization of alcohol industry enterprises has been launched, the purpose of which is to implement the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On State Regulation of Production and Circulation of Ethyl, Cognac and Fruit Alcohol, Alcoholic Beverages, Tobacco products and Fuel”, which demonopolizes the alcohol production industry and creates a new market with equal rules for all participants.

It should be noted that according to the current legislation, the only opportunity to become a participant in the market of alcohol production in Ukraine by July 1, 2021 - is to purchase an object of the alcohol industry.
