Transparent lease of public property: Rental price of property in the center of the city of Zhytomyr has almost tripled as a result of online auction

Online auction took place on November 12on transfer into lease of building with the square of 471.4 sq. meters in central part of the city of Zhytomyr, which is publicly owned.

Opening rental price forwhich building was set up for auction and made up UAH 25,180. Price of property increased almost for three times up to UAH 75,001 as a result of competitive online auction in which 2 participants took participation.

Winner of auction received the above-mentioned premises for rent under terms of lease for period of 5 years with possibility usage at his own discretion.

Winner of auction has got 3 working days for execution of protocoland 20 working days for conclusion of lease agreement from day following day of formation of the protocol on the results of auctionaccording to Procedure for Leasing State and of Municipal Property.

Lease agreement with the winner of auction will be concluded in case he pays following payments within the specified period:

  • advance payment of rent for 2 months (including VAT);

  • securitydeposit in amount of rent for 2 months (without VAT).

Right to lease premises will pass to another participant of auctionwithnext largest bid which makes up UAH 75,000 in case if the winner does not execute above-mentioned payments.
