Baseless allegations of UMCC aim to undermine the enterprise’s privatization

Disinformation campaign that UMCC supplied its products to temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine aims to undermine the preparation process of the state enterprise to be privatized.

The State Property Fund of Ukraine takes a principled state position on supporting all law enforcement agencies in monitoring compliance with law of performances of all enterprises that are under the Fund’s management.

At the same time, unsubstantiated allegations in media against the Fund and its representatives demonstrate interest of certain persons not to comply the legislation but to destabilize significant for economy state enterprises.

«It is obvious that through targeted damage of the UMCC’s image, certain persons pursue their own goal that is to devaluate this asset before its privatization and to reduce a range of potential investors monitoring this object and which may introduce competition during biddings», - Deputy Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Denis Kudin stated.

He also informed that such actions directly conflict with interests of the state and the  Ukrainian society that are concerned in complying the current legislation during the company’s operation, in obtaining stable income from the company’s performance while it’s in the state ownership and from its privatization via a transparent e-auction.

It should be noted the it’s not the first time when it is used unfair information campaign to destabilize UMCC that is managed to positive financial performance due to the integrated actions of management
