On the eve of Christmas, the State Property Fund of Ukraine received the Bethlehem Fire from Plast

On December 24, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, represented by the Deputy Head of the Fund Taras Yeleyko and Yuliya Byelova, received the Bethlehem Fire of Peace from the largest and oldest youth organization in Ukraine "Plast".

The Bethlehem Fire of Peace is an international scout action aimed at spreading the symbolic fire from Bethlehem on Christmas Eve. Since 1986, the Austrian Broadcasting Company, together with Austrian scouts, has been bringing fire to the Vienna Cathedral every year and, after the festivities, passing it on to various scout centers.

Thanks to the Ukrainian organization "Plast", this symbol of goodness and peace has come to the State Property Fund of Ukraine.

"I am pleasantly surprised by how interested these young people are in reforming and creating a new state, as well as in the issues of privatization, how well they understand the importance of this process," said Taras Yeleyko, Deputy Head of the Fund. And added that "Plast" members are conscious and responsible youth, which is the basis of civil society.

The Deputy Head of the Fund Yuliya Byelova expressed confidence that this initiative will become a wonderful Christmas tradition in the State Property Fund.

"We will always be happy to see such intelligent young people with an active position in life," said Yuliya Byelova.
