The State Property Fund begins privatization of the state bakery plants. Auction of the SOE “Dunayevetskyi Bakery Plant” has been announced

On May 7, the privatization of the property complex of SOE “Dunayevetskyi Bakery Plant”, located in Dunaivtsi of Khmelnytsk region, will be auctioned online.

According to the statute, Dunayevetskyi Bakery Plant is engaged in the production of the flour and cereal industry products and animal feed kept on farms, as well as wholesale of grain, unprocessed tobacco, seeds, animal feed, etc.

The privatization object consists of buildings and constructions with the total area of 79,804.48 sq. m., including: an administrative building with canteen, bakeries, elevators, a mill plant, a laboratory, warehouses, workshops, garages, other outbuildings. The total land plots area is 67.3043 ha.

There is technological equipment, as well as necessary communications: water supply, power supply, sewerage, access roads.

The starting price of the asset is UAH 187,637,810, and accepting applications for participation at the auction will last until May 6.

Dunayevetskyi Bakery Plant will become the first object to be auctioned online transparently, as part of the state bakery plants privatization.

At one time, bakery plants were one of the key links in the agricultural production process, which was under the state monopoly control. However, with the move to the free market, this asset has become non-core for the state. It is difficult to call successful a significant part of enterprises but the privatization of these assets can radically change the situation.

These assets have excellent investment potential – bakery plants were established as production sites with a careful choice of locations and developed logistics infrastructure. Enterprises were used both for processing grain into flour or animal feed, and for storage or transshipment of productssince bakery plants have powerful elevators and access to railway tracks.

The privatization of bakery plants is a benefit for all participants of the process. The state will receive funds to the budget and economic activity revitalization. Investors will get assets that are important for business development. Local communities will obtain jobs and area development.
