On May 21, 2021 an auction will be held for the privatization of Vyshniakivsk operating location and alcohol storage of SE «Ukrspyrt»

As part of the demonopolization of the alcohol industry, on May 21, 2021, a separate property of the Vyshniakivk operating location and alcohol storage of the State Enterprise «Ukrspyrt» (alcohol production) will be put up on transparent e-auction.

The facility is located in the village of Vyshniaky, Khorol rayon, Poltava oblast, was founded in 1776 and modernized in 2015.

The company owns buildings and structures with a total area of 9,357.8 sq.m, including: industrial buildings, warehouses, administrative buildings, shops, workshops, etc. The total area of land plots is 8.8739 hectares.

The company's technological equipment is in satisfactory condition.

The starting price of the asset is UAH 21,176,878, and applications for participation in the е-auction will be accepted until May 20, 2021.

The demonopolization of the alcohol industry began in 2020. Until now, only two countries, Ukraine and Bilorus, have maintained a state monopoly on alcohol production. In Ukraine, over the past 10 years before demonopolization, the production of legal food alcohol has decreased in 4 times, and the share of shadow turnover has increased from 10% (in 2007) to 55% (in 2019).

Transparent privatization of alcohol assets opens up new opportunities for both the country and auctioneers.
