The State Property Fund has filed a lawsuit to recognize state ownership of part of the Samara-West Direction Main Oil Pipeline
The State Property Fund of Ukraine, in order to protect the interests of the state on the basis of materials obtained by the NABU during the investigation of criminal proceedings on the fact of a well-unreliable expert's opinion, filed a claim in which it asks the court to recognize the state ownership of real estate property: part of the Samara-West Direction Main Oil Pipeline.
Also, in the statement of claim, the State Property Fund asks the court to cancel the state registration of ownership of “PrykarpatZakhidtrans” LLC and PD-Western Joint Stock Company of Pipeline Transport of Petroleum Products for the abovementioned real estate property.
The State Property Fund cooperates with law enforcement agencies and takes a proactive and consistent position to protect state interests.
Thus, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have completed an investigation into the expert's actions, on the basis of an unreliable conclusion of which the court in 2017 refused to recognize the ownership of part of the Samara-West Direction oil pipelines by the state.
The decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court of February 23, 2021 prohibits the disposal, alienation and use of objects and linear sections directly involved in ensuring the production activities of the mentioned complex.
Warning. In accordance with part one of the Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered to be not guilty of a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proved legally and established by a court verdict.
