Privatization of Ivankivskyi Operating Location and Storage of Alcohol: the budget should receive UAH 90 million

On May 20, the separate property of Ivankivskyi Operating Location and Storage of Alcohol of SOE “Ukrspyrt” was auctioned. According to its results the state budget should receive UAH 90 million.

6 participants competed for the right of ownership at the open bidding, which increased the price 4.4 times from the starting UAH 20 372 540 to UAH 90 000 001.

The fight lasted throughout all rounds, the final rates of participants differed by
1 hryvnia.

The assets of the privatization object are located in Ivanky village and Potash village, Mankivskyi district, Cherkasy region. The balance of the enterprise has the necessary equipment for the production of alcohol.

The winner must sign a protocol on the results of the auction, enter into a sale and purchase contract and repay - after that the privatization process will be officially completed.

Privatization of a separate property of Ivankivskyi Operating Location and Storage of Alcohol of SOE “Ukrspyrt” took place within the framework of demonopolization of the distillery industry, which began in 2020. In total, the state will expose 41 Operating Locations, which are part of the state enterprise “Ukrspyrt”, and 37 objects, which are joined in the “Ukrspyrt” concern, for transparent privatization.

In general, according to the results of 2020-2021, the state budget should receive about 1.5 billion hryvnias from the privatization of distillery assets, and most important - the creation of a new distillery market has begun.
