Kostiantyn Koshelenko: «A successful country begins with successful regions and communities»
On August 16, Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Kostiantyn Koshelenko had a working visit to Sumy region, where he met with Dmytro Zhyvytsky, the Head of the Regional State Administration and his Deputy, Taras Savchenko, to discuss important issues of cooperation.
During the working meeting with the top leadership of the region, they discussed urgent issues of the region, further interaction between the administration and the State Property Fund, since joint work will give a positive impetus to the development of economic activity in the region and create jobs.
«We have to market together the investment menu of Sumy region so that 70 objects from the list for privatization find effective investors. Also, attention needs to be paid to solving the problem of out-of-state property left unsecured after the «privatization» of the 1990s in order to transfer to communities,» - Kostiantyn Koshelenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine stressed.
Also, Kostiantyn Koshelenko, Deputy Chairman of the Fund and the leadership of the region agreed to jointly promote the organization of more productive activities of the working group on effective property management. Both sides agreed on the urgent need to strengthen cooperation with property balance holders in the region, as the region does not use state property with a total area of 6,600 sq.m, and as a result of joint efforts, instead of losses, Ukraine will receive profits and investments through leae and privatization.
