Kostiantyn Koshelenko: State Property Fund offers to investors 35 lease facilities for investments in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone

On October 5, Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund Kostiantyn Koshelenko spoke about the opportunity for businesses to lease state property in transparent online auctions in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone during a press tour of leased facilities in the city of Chernobyl.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund, transparent lease is a mechanism that can boost economic activity in the area and promote its revival.

"Due to the impossibility of privatization in the exclusion zone, rent remains the only tool here to attract investment. At the same time, there is a significant tourism potential, a promising market for services and opportunities for the placement of green energy facilities, " said Kostiantyn Koshelenko.

He emphasized that each vacant object for rent can be found online on the website orenda.gov.ua, and all auctions take place online.

"Today, everyone can be convinced that even in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, there are real estate objects of interest for investment. This creates additional opportunities for the implementation of the program to transform it into a revival zone, "- summed up the Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund Kostiantyn Koshelenko.

The event was also attended by the Head of the Regional Branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine in Kyiv, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions Vadym Kurylo, who provided journalists with detailed information on state-owned objects in the exclusion zone, which are vacant for rent.

"To get advice on concluding agreements, you do not need to go to the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, if necessary, you can contact the Kyiv Regional Regional Office, whose office is located in Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, and by phone (044) 200-25-26," Vadym Kurylo  explained.
