The first online privatization auction took place since the beginning of a full-scale invasion

On September 19, the first online privatization auction took place since the beginning of a full-scale invasion. The winning bet was UAH 70,253,000. The object of privatization was a separate property of Kobylovoloky operating location and alcohol storage of SOE “UKRSPYRT”, located in Ternopil oblast.

6 participants fought for ownership at transparent bidding. During the auction, the sale price was almost tripled from UAH 25.2 million of the starting price.

After signing the sale agreement, the new owner will receive an asset that includes non-residential premises, more than 10 units of transport, hundreds of units of production equipment for carrying out activities and an access railway track. He will also have to pay funds in the amount of the object’s starting cost to the accounts of SOE "Ukrspyrt" to repay the enterprise's debts.

According to Rustem Umerov, Chairman of the State Property Fund, private business has demonstrated its courage despite the hostilities: "Ukrainian entrepreneurs have proven their readiness to strengthen the economic front and create new jobs".

He also called on investors to participate in the following privatization auctions: "The funds received from privatization are weapons to protect Ukraine from the aggressor and guarantee of social programs for Ukrainians".

Oleksii Sobolev, Director of the SOE "Prozorro.Sale", noted the high competition at the auction: "This means that the business has long been waiting for the resumption of privatization and today is ready to compete at privatization auctions to resume its activities".
