In an interview for Forbes Ukraine Chairman of the SPFU spoke about the vision of the Funds transformation

"We must turn the Fund into an investment platform that can work with national and international investors", Chairman of the Fund said.

As Rustem Umerov identified, the main goal of the SPFU for the short term is finding effective owners by implementing for small and large-scale privatization objects.

Rustem Umerov also spoke about the creation and idea of the Sovereign Fund of Ukraine.

"For us, this is one of the main tasks in the State Property Fund. The Sovereign Fund will work with assets that we do not privatize: we must modernize these assets and increase their capitalization," Rustem Umerov, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine stresses.
