"Our strategy is to sell 80% of what we have from small and large privatization", Rustem Umerov, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda
During an interview with Roman Kravets, a journalist of Ukrainska Pravda, Rustem Umerov, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, spoke about his appointment, the current work of the State Property Fund and the transformation of the Fund into a new state institute.
"How many objects do we have, for example, on large-scale privatization? 5 or 10 enterprises? Do they operate? No. What will happen to them in a year? It will no longer be an asset but an integral property complex that will become just land.
That is why I say we must find effective owners who can launch these companies, start selling their products, start modernizing, because these enterprises remained in the 50 and 60s", Rustem Umerov says.
