We are waiting for the law on unblocking large-scale privatization - the Chairman of the SPFU Rustem Umerov in an interview with Forbes Ukraine
The State Property Fund plans to resume large-scale privatization in the second-third quarter. This was stated in an interview with Forbes Ukraine by the Chairman of the SPFU Rustem Umerov.
"We plan to exhibit all large objects in the second or third quarter. Plan "A" is to privatize. Plan "B" – if there is no demand for these objects, then we will start developing these enterprises in the long term and make them attractive for investors in the future," said the Chairman of the SPFU.
In order to resume large-scale privatization, the SPFU is waiting for the adoption of Draft
Law No. 8250 On Optimizing the Structure of the SPFU. It contains a condition for unblocking large-scale privatization.
"There is unity among the deputies, so we are waiting for adoption in the near future in the second reading," Rustem Umerov said.
