The SPFU Chairman has met CEO of the NBIM – the second largest sovereign fund in the world

The SPFU Chairman Rustem Umerov has met CEO of the Norges Bank Investment Management Nicolai Tangen.

During the meeting, Rustem Umerov has told about the plans of the SPFU — launching enterprises, resuming production and creating National champions in the fields of energy, mining, chemistry/fertilizers, and agriculture.

"Ukraine eager to involve Norway as a key strategic partner, in particular in the matter of exchanging experience regarding the creation of a Sovereign Fund," noted the SPFU Chairman.

Rustem Umerov thanked NBIM for supporting the pro-Ukrainian position – back in February 2022, the Fund sold all russian assets.
