UAH 200 million is the result of the privatization auction for the sale of the Izmail winery

On April 19, the State Property Fund held a privatization online auction for the sale of the Izmail winery. The auctions took place in the state electronic trading system Prozorro.Sale.

During the auction the value of the winery increased by 11 times (from starting price of UAH 17.9 million to winning price of UAH 200 million). Four participants competed for the right to privatization in the auction.

The assets of the winery include the wine cellar, the grape processing workshop, bottling workshops, the champagne wine production workshop, the warehouse space for final products, the exhibition complex, administrative buildings, etc. The total area of the premises is 27.2 thousand m². The assets are located in the Odesa region in Izmail, as well as in the Suvorove urban-type settlement, the Plavni village and the Primorske village (recreation center).

Previously the winery's assets were used by a private lessee to produce wine products such as champagne and sparkling wines.

The winner of the auction has 20 working days to pay the price of the lot after the day the auction ends. A sales contract is signed only after the money is received in the budget.

If the winner refuses to pay the winning bid he will lose the guarantee fee of UAH 3.57 million (20% of the starting price). This money will be credited to the state budget.
