“Second wind» for the legendary “Electronmash” - State Property Fund is looking for an investor for the capital plant

On May 29, 2023, the State Property Fund will hold an online auction regarding the privatization of the single property complex of the state enterprise “Electronmash” (Kyiv) in the state electronic trading system Prozoro.Sale. The starting price is UAH 61.3 million (excluding VAT).

The enterprise has overdue payables of almost UAH 21.4 million. In recent years, it has performed essential losses. In 2022 “Electronmash” received a loss of UAH 8.2 million, and in 2021 – UAH 24.0 million, and in 2020 – UAH 10.9 million.

The number of employees is decreasing in the enterprise. If in 2020, 175 employees worked at “Electronmash”, then in 2021 – 149, and in 2022 – 127.

In the capital, 36 real estate objects are located on the territory of “Electronmash”. Workshops and administrative buildings are among them. There are 31 vehicles and a recreation center in Sokolivka village, Chernihiv region, on the balance sheet of “Electronmash”.

From the Soviet time, “Electronmash” produced electronic computing equipment, power supplies for urban electric transport and household gas meters. After the disaster at Chornobyl NPP, electronic boards for remote control of equipment were produced at the plant's facilities to eliminate the consequences of the accident.

At the time of independence, the enterprise produced control and cash registers. However, after the transition to a market economy, the plant could not adapt to competition.
