The winning bid at the privatization auction for the Kyiv Museum "Hermitage" was 311 million hryvnias
The State Property Fund held a privatization auction of two buildings in the center of Kyiv at 26 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street via the ProZorro.Sale electronic system. The auction was attended by 39 bidders, and the amount of the winning bid increased almost 15 times from the starting price to 311 million hryvnias.
"Businesses are highly active, capable and willing to work, therebyentrepreneurship development, business restoration, economic growth and privatization proceed, which help Ukrainian Armed Forces," reported Rustem Umerov, Chairman of the SPFU.
The competition and excellentpreparation of the privatization object increased its price, determining its market value - it is currently the highest winning bid since the small-scale privatization resumption in September 2012.
When all procedures are done, the winner will own: a historic building with a total area of 3165.8 m² (a five-storey building with a basement) and a yardbuilding with a total area of 1963.3 m² (a four-storey building with a basement).
The property was put up for privatization with the conditionof protecting historical and cultural monuments, as the buildings built in 1902-1904 included in the list of historical and cultural monuments of local significance.
The winner has 20 weekdays to pay the price of the lot after the auction ends. Only after funds are received to the budget, the sale agreement is signed
