The State Property Fund implements a digital system for selecting candidates for the positions of directors of SOEs

Soon, the State property Fund plans to introduce a digital system for accepting applications of candidates and selecting them for the positions of directors of SOEs. The System will include several stages:

  • At the first stage, the State Property Fund will launch the website that will publish information about vacancies for SOEs directors’ positions. There, potential candidates will be able to find job description, requirements, and selecting criteria. Also on this site, there will be an opportunity for candidates to apply.
  • After candidates submit their applications through the website, the digital system will check them for compliance with the set criteria. This verification may include an assessment of work experience, education, skills, professional achievements and other factors that may be relevant to the position of SOE’s director.
  • At the next stage, the Commission of the SPFU’s representatives will select candidates.This process may include various interviews, or other methods of evaluating candidates. The Commission will be analyze candidates’ profiles, their skills and experience, as well as evaluate their suitability for a particular position. Besides, at this stage, a check of corruption risks and security will be carried out.

When the selecting process will be finished, the Commission will make decision on selection of the directors of the SOE.

“The digital system for selecting candidates will promote transparency, competition and openness in the process of searching for directors. It will provide an opportunity for candidates to submit their applications and be screened, and for the Commission to select candidates for the positions of directors of the SOE with the best qualifications,” said the First Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund Denys Shuhalii.

The digital system for selecting the candidates will promote formation of personnel reserve of the SPFU. It will be formed from candidates who will submit their resumes through the Fund’s vacancies website.
