The State Property Fund found investors for 200 state-owned assets - Deputy Chairman of the Fund Liudmyla Darahan at the "United News" marathon
In the first half of 2023, the State Property Fund received over UAH 1.8 billion from privatization. Overall, these are record amounts from the sale of state property in 10 years. It was reported by Deputy Chairman of the SPFU Liudmyla Darahan in a broadcast of the United News marathon. Previously, this figure averaged UAH 267 million.
"First and foremost, Ukrainian business participates in privatization as it believes in our defenders. Over 60% of investors are Ukrainian small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. They are ready to expand following our absolute victory," noted Liudmyla Darahan.
Auction results demonstrate how the State Property Fund has found investors for more than 200 objects, whereas the final value of assets has increased 3.5 times. On average, five entrepreneurs were competing for each lot, noted Liudmyla Darahan.
Real estate is the most popular type of assets. About 76% of the sold assets were industrial and administrative real estate, such as warehouses, shops, workrooms, offices.
The advantage of these facilities is the availability of utilities. These are so-called brownfield assets, when a private owner buys, restores and uses them to start a new business.
