Over half a billion hryvnias of investments – results of privatization auctions held by the State Property Fund in July

In July, the total amount of winning bids at privatization auctions for assets from the State Property Fund reached 521 million hryvnias (twice as much as the previous month). The final value of the assets was 3.5 times higher than the starting price. In total, 53 state-owned assets were sold.

The largest assets privatized in July through the auctions of the SPFU in the system ProZorro.Sale were as follows:

  • "Rivnetorf" enterprise, the price of which has increased 4 times to UAH 205 million due to competition among 12 participants;
  • Novosilkivskyi distillery, the price of which has increased 3 times to UAH 90 million due to competition among 5 participants;
  • "Urozhai" enterprise complex in the Odessa region, the price of which has increased to UAH 65 million due to competition among 22 participants.

A total of 385 entrepreneurs participated in 53 auctions, with an average of about 7 participants per auction. The auctions with the highest number of participants were privatizing the property of the "Ukrspyrt" state enterprise in the Ternopil region (29 participants) and garages in Khmelnytskyi (29 participants).

The top three regional offices of the SPFU in terms of investment attraction in July were Rivne and Zhytomyr regions (UAH 206.3 million); Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, and Ternopil regions (UAH 100.6 million); Lviv, Zakarpattia, and Volyn regions (UAH 95.4 million).

The privatization auctions of the SPFU are seen as a step towards Ukraine's victory and support for the country's economic front. This is because all the funds raised by the SPFU go to support the Defense Forces.
