The State Property Fund of Ukraine and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption signed a Memorandum on providing the Agency access to the database of property valuation reports

The State Property Fund of Ukraine and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption signed a Memorandum of cooperation, in accordance with the NAPC gets access to the Unified database of property valuation reports.

Information from a Database will be used by the NAPC’s specialists during examination of declarations of persons authorized to perform the functions of the state or local government.

Thus, the NAPC will be able to verify a real estate value writtenby declarantswith assessed value in the Unified database of property valuation reports.

This will make it possible to simplify and accelerate the identification of violations by declarantswhen filling out declarations, namely underpricingof the real estate value in order to hide their own funds.

According to Yuliya Byelova, Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund, Fund’s new team aimed at principled fight against corruption.

“Today we are working on the modernization of registrieswhich are managing by the Fund, as well as their integration into electronic interaction systems. This should contribute to improving the quality of information and administrative services for citizens,as well as will strengthen the fight against corruption by providing relevant information to anti-corruption bodies”, Yuliya Byelovasaid.

In order to continue cooperation the State Property Fund of Ukraine and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption discuss the possibility of usinginformation from the Unified database of property valuation reportsfor e-control of declarations.
