The State Property Fund of Ukraine requires a refutation of an inaccurate information concerning to the work of the Competition Commission on the selection of advisors

The State Property Fund of Ukraine rejects the ‘Grant Thornton’ (Ukraine) company groundless accusations, which took part in a selective competition of investment advisors and lost in a competitive struggle.

The Competition Commission adhered to all the principles of transparency, legality and equality in its work. It is important, during the Commission’s work the competition’s participants didn’t have any remarks both in the first and in the second stage of selection. Including ‘Grant Thornton’, which accused the Fund, after the competition selection results had been published.

The best of the best investment companies took part in a competition, and there are always those who have lost and those who have won. However, a loss should not be an argument for evidence-freeaccusations. The State Property Fund of Ukraine is convinced thatconsciouslyuntruthful declarations cause damage to privatization process and prevent attraction of investors.

That’s why the State Property Fund of Ukraine requiresa refutation of an inaccurate information concerning to the work of the Competition Commission on the selection of advisors.Otherwise the State Property Fund of Ukraine will be appeal to the Court for protection of own honour,dignity and business reputation.
