In 2017, the State Property Fund provided almost 5.5 million UAH reimbursement of state damages for improper maintenance of property

The Regional Offices of the SPFU sent to the law enforcement agencies, the State Audit Office of Ukraine, the court, economic entities (balance-holders) a request on the restoration of property, compensation for losses, ensuring their preservation and proper use concerning 9548 state-owned objects that were not included in the authorized capital of the economic entities in the process of privatization. This is stated in the Report on the results of the implementation of Measures to improve the work related to the management of state-owned objects that are not included in the authorized capital of economic entities in the privatization process.

The Report also notes that in 2017, the number of objects for which conducted inspections over the maintenance, storage and use of state property was increased by 37.76% than in 2016.

In 2017, the State Budget of Ukraine received reimbursement to balance-holders of losses inflicted by the state as a result of inadequate maintenance of property for a total amount of  5479.5 thousand UAH excluding VAT.
