The University town has been created on the base of an undeveloped construction project

One of the main task privatization of the objects of undeveloped construction remains the reducing of the total amount of remained undeveloped (construction projects) by means of selling ones for the owner which will potentially be able to complete the construction.

There is the Selling-Purchasing Agreement (SPA) on 28.05.1999 of the undeveloped (construction project)– district’s ‘officers home’ in Lviv city on 29, Stryiska, str., concluded between the Regional Office of the State Property Fund of Ukraine and religion organization “Ukrainian Catholic University of the Byzantine-rite Catholic Church of the Ukraine”, is on the control of the Regional office.

On this undeveloped construction object has been developed the concept of construction of the University town of Ukrainian Catholic University with academic buildings,Collegiums, library, church, and other buildings, where created more then 500 working places. There are approximately 700 students studied simultaneously in the University town.

There were 347 millions hryvnia and more than 20 million dollar has been invested in the construction of this object.

By this time the University town became the place, where is accumulated rich international experience. The Concept of General Plan of the University town has been developed by
