For unscrupulous winners of state property lease competitions has introduced a responsibility by the Government

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has changed the rules of state property lease, it introduced a norm that would financially punish unscrupulous winners of the competition.

This was announced by Vitalii Trubarov, Chairman of the State Property Fund, on his Facebook page.

According to Vitalii Trubarov,the Government has supported the Fund initiative to strengthen the fight against unscrupulous winners of lease competitions.

“Now all companies participating in the competition for the right to lease must make an advance payment of not less than six monthly rent fees.This payment will return to everyone except the winner. Thus, the companies that came with the intention of breaking the competition that is formally winand then refuse to sign the agreement, lose advance payment”, said Vitalii Trubarov.

Chairman of the State Property Fund notes that previously, companies came to the competition to “knock out” the real tenantto defeat the competition and to force the Fund to conduct competitive procedures again. “Now such “games” will be expensiveand only those companies that have a real intention to sign lease agreements will win the competitions”, said Vitalii Trubarov.
