Privatization Activity Results for the First Half of 2026
During the first half of 2026, privatization activity generated UAH 1.081 billion in proceeds for the state budget, with an additional UAH 180.03 million in VAT, bringing the total economic impact to more than UAH 1.261 billion.
These figures represent more than fiscal revenues. They reflect the market value of state-owned assets transferred to new owners through transparent, competitive auctions. These investors are committed to modernizing the assets and unlocking their economic potential.
During the reporting period, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) successfully conducted 168 privatization auctions.
A high level of competition remained one of the defining features of privatization auctions in the first half of 2026. A total of 514 bidders participated, demonstrating strong investor interest in state-owned assets. On average, each auction attracted three bidders, with competition driving the final sale prices to more than double the starting prices.
As of 30 June 2026, the SPFU offers investors:
19 large-scale privatization assets;
1,247 small-scale privatization assets, including:
-
268 unified property complexes;
-
43 state-owned blocks of shares;
-
799 individual property assets;
-
82 unfinished construction projects;
-
55 social and cultural assets.
Among the most attractive investment opportunities are:
- 13 distilleries;
- 10 grain processing and storage facilities;
- 9 quarries and peat extraction enterprises;
-
5 prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises;
-
more than 10 industrial assets suitable for modernization and production restart;
- more than 30 brownfield redevelopment opportunities.
In the second half of 2026, the SPFU will continue advancing the privatization of state-owned assets through a new series of online auctions and investment opportunities. The Fund is preparing a broad pipeline of attractive assets across Ukraine, creating new opportunities for investors to expand their businesses and deliver successful projects.
Privatization is about more than generating budget revenues. It creates opportunities to attract investment, support business development, create new jobs, and modernize state-owned assets. By ensuring transparency and fair competition in privatization auctions, the State Property Fund of Ukraine continues to facilitate investment and strengthen Ukraine's economic resilience.
